Who Were the Bee Gee Brothers
The Bee Gees were not five brothers. The group consisted of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, and Maurice Gibb. They rose to global fame with disco-era hits and later adult contemporary songs.
What Happened to the Gibb Brothers
Maurice Gibb died in 2003 from complications following surgery. Robin Gibb died in 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Barry Gibb remains the surviving member and continues to perform and record music.
Bee Gees Legacy Today
Today the Bee Gees catalog is managed by Barry Gibb and their estate. Their songs remain widely streamed and licensed, and Barry Gibb tours with a band performing their classic hits.
