Primary Filming Location
Alexa and Katie was filmed primarily in Los Angeles, California. Like many Nickelodeon productions, the show used soundstages and nearby neighborhoods to create its suburban setting.
Studio and Soundstage Details
Interior scenes were shot on studio lots in the greater Los Angeles area, a common setup for Nickelodeon sitcoms. Production teams used controlled indoor environments to manage lighting and scheduling.
On-Location Shooting
Exterior shots were filmed at recognizable Southern California locations, including parks, streets, and residential areas around Los Angeles. These real-world backdrops helped give the series a natural, everyday feel.
Why the Location Matters
Filming in Los Angeles allowed the cast and crew to access experienced local talent and standard production services. The area’s diverse neighborhoods and sunny weather supported the show’s lighthearted tone.
