Cast and Characters
Jackie Chan plays Inspector Lee, a skilled Hong Kong detective, while Chris Tucker stars as Detective James Carter, a talkative LAPD officer. Their contrasting styles drive the humor and action throughout the films.

The first Rush Hour film earned over $244 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing comedy franchises of the late 1990s and early 2000s. A fourth film has been discussed, but no official release date has been confirmed as of recent reports. For more details on the franchise history, see Box Office Mojo.
