How Many Stars Equal a Free Drink
You need 150 stars to redeem a free handcrafted drink of any size in the U.S. This is the standard redemption level for most beverages on the Starbucks Rewards menu.
How to Earn Stars
You earn 2 stars for every dollar spent when you pay with the Starbucks app or a registered Starbucks Card. Stars are added after the transaction is completed and the payment is processed.
Other Ways to Get Stars Faster
Starbucks occasionally offers bonus star promotions, such as earning 3x or 4x stars on specific days or for certain purchases. You can also earn stars by completing challenges in the app or through linked bank and credit card offers. Check the app or the official Starbucks Rewards page for current offers.
